The mild climate allows use of any of several golf courses located in the area and the use of several local parks, including Panther Creek State Park.  Numerous plays, concerts and other cultural activities are available throughout the year.   With an excellent quality of life, low property taxes (county only), no state income tax, low home insurance rates and a very affordable local standard of living, this community is a great place to live.
